Tornado watch 154 until 2 PM… Storms stretching from the Florida west coast to north central Florida will move quickly east while drifting south across the Interstate Four corridor during the remainder of the morning. Strong winds in the lower and middle atmosphere will create the potential for gusty winds of 45 to 55 mph near the stronger storms along with small hail and perhaps a brief tornado. Moisture and instability will lead to the development of additional storms across the remainder of east central Florida during the late morning hours and into the afternoon with a continued threat of strong to possibly damaging wind gusts and rotating storms. Persons should continue to Monitor their local media along with noaa weather radio for the latest weather information.
